Well, the first of many significant Republican Convention-related protests this week came and went in NYC. Needless to say, it wil be a very eventful week in this city whether we like it or not. Im still questioning why they decided to hold a republican convention in the most liberal city in the country knowing the protests and security issues would be massive ( the answer to that is rather obvious of course ).

Hundreds arrested in New York anti-Bush protest.

Friday night's protest lasted several hours at a time when central Manhattan was crowded with theatergoers and people at restaurants and bars. Traffic was brought to a virtual standstill in the chaos.

guess who was stuck on a bus right in the middle of this with a VERY full bladder?
