To Habs: Girgensons, 31, 37 & 2016 3rd.

Habs had two top 10 picks and felt they couldn't wait for both to develop into a playable rating. Getting a young roster guy and picks, was what we were looking for, and found in Jersey.

Girgensons had a good season and hopefully he will get a ratings boost, while staying on his low contract. Habs had zero 2nds rd picks, so adding two early 2nds-will add to the excitement of draft day for management. Also dropping to the 2nd rd will allow us to sign the prospects to a 3 yr deal.
