Bailey gets shipped to Centre of Universe

The Isles and Leafs completed a deal on holiday Monday that breaks down as follows:

To Leafs
Josh Bailey
Pick 72 (15')
3rd Rndr (16')

To Isles
Artem Anisimov
Calle Jarnkrok

This is a bit of a risky deal on both sides since re-rates have not happened yet.

Based on how they performed this season, this will likely be a win for the Leafs this year.

The whole reason we did this deal is in hopes that Anisimov recovers from shoulder surgery and picks up where he left off and that Jarnkrok continues to develop in the Preds.

At the end of the day, the Isles need more NHL calibre players and this deal helped us accomplish that.

This one toom a while because I really like Jarnkrok. But at the end of the day, we feel like we get the best player in the deal and we also like the extra picks.
