Your 2015 Playoff Superstitions...

We know pylon destroyed his colon in order to get the Flames into the Playoffs; now that Round 1 has come and gone, anyone want to share their good luck charms, rituals, and positive juju in advance of Round 2?

For me, these are the lucky "cards" that my daughter made prior to the April 7 game against Arizona:



They are now 4-0 when I bring them to the game, including Game 6 on Saturday and the Playoff clincher against LA. I've also parked in the same spot and worn the same jersey (Kipper) each time...

I wear my '04 tshirt under my jersey, and I'm 3-0 in the home playoff games this year. I haven't washed it yet. Sorry for anyone who sits beside me.

We had a weird one at my place saturday. The Flames were losing 4-3 and my buddy went out for a smoke out the front doors. While he was gone, the Flames tied it up. As the game was approaching the point where Stajan scored to take the lead, we kicked him out of the house again. As soon as he steps out, the Flames scored.

Not sure that it will be a "superstition", but the two times I've watched the game on HNIC Omni (Punjabi), they've won.

I bonk my brothers dogs head on the ceiling just before puck drop for 3rd period. 4-0 with Bonk, 0-2 without. Might have to buy him a helmet at current success rate...

wore them to the LA game (wanted one game in shorts this season), then games three and four

game six was freaking cold so I put the shorts and flip flops in the back seat of the car so they were at least "part" of the evening.

I don't believe in superstitions so I don't have any. Though it's fun to read what you guys are posting.

- Lucky red underwear (yes, I wash them between games)
- 2 Ceasers at the tent in the tailgate followed by a beer purchased from a Specific CP member
-Retro sweater I have worn since LA game
-No jersey on game day at work, because I missed the first one and we won.

I wasn't wearing my jersey on game day when we beat LA to clinch so I refused to wear it on Game Days until we lost when I wasn't wearing it. "Luckily" we lost in Game 5 so it's back!

if I watch the games in my basement and use my Flames blanket they are 4-1...I watched game 5 and the first period of game 6 upstairs, but once I moved downstairs they started their comeback. oh and I wear a Flames t-shirt

Didn't intend it, but in round 1 we were 3-0 when I wore my Bouwmeester jersey and 1-2 when I didn't.

Could also be because all 3 were home games...

I wear my Monahan T-Shirt under my jersey for home games and my Gaudreau T-Shirt under my jersey for road games. I wear my "Never Quit" T-shirt on non-game days. I bring my jersey and t-shirt to work and when I change in my office when I leave for the day.

I drink two bottles of Rickard's RED when I watch the game at home.

I cheer. LOUD!

I shave my cheeks, but won't trim my goatee during the playoffs. I usually get a buzz cut every two weeks but I won't touch my hair until the Flames have played their last game.

I have a flashing Calgary Flames logo light, and a flashing Go Flames Go light that we turn on when we watch the games.

I have a giant Calgary Flames hanging banner that I hang up in the living room. I also have a gigantic Stanley Cup Growth chart that we hang up in the kitchen during every playoffs.

None of this has any bearing on the Flames success, but it sure helps add to my families fun of playoffs.

On Saturday afternoon, my 10 y/o son was playing NHL 15. He was the Flames playing against the Canucks. He's having fun but before he knew it, it was 3-0 for the Canucks. As soon as I noticed, I told him to turn it off and play something else. I want to apologize on behalf of my family for almost costing us Game 6!!

Flames are 3-0 while my car flag is on (I took it out before game 5 to wash my car and forgot to put it back in until the next day). So basically, I control the entire universe.

I switched from my Iggy jersey to a generic one after the first period in game 6. Seemed to work. Will wear generic jersey for game 1.
