Beleskey to Boston for 5 yrs at a shade under $4 mil per.

In my books he's worth about $3.5 million max. Injury prone, not a lot of points. Not great defensively.

I don't think Belesky is THAT good, but I'm glad he might be further away from us since he's a Flames-killer. 2G + 2A in 3 regular season games, then of course 5 G in the playoff series.
Palmieri too, he had 4G + 1A in 5 games vs us.

My lingering fondness for the Bruins for defeating the Canucks leaves me feeling bad for their fans who have to watch the team move out Hamilton and Lucic only to see the team re-hamstring itself with that Beleskey signing.

Beleskey averages 57 games played in 82 game seasons (I omitted his 1st season and the lockout year). He averages only 0.34 points per game and is only +1 in his career. And he's not good defensively. This is not a player you overpay for.

Matt Beleskey has the same career Point/60 as Matt Cooke. And Tyler Kennedy. Closing the gap on Matt Cullen too.

sucks to be a Bruins fan.... feel bad for them, they built up a lot of good will for me for kicking out Vancouver a few years ago.
