The whole Wolf situation confuses the heck out of me.
Wolf had 2 starts in the NHL regular season. 7:27 Jan 31 in a 4-2 win at home against Edmonton and then a 4-1 road win against San Jose on Feb 9 where he got 7:34.
In both games he dressed Bouma was the 1st Star.
Wolf also got to play in the last exhibition game to finsish the season in Winnipeg.
From the limited chance that he was given at the NHL level I was thinking that Wolf was 1 and done in that he would be back in Europe next year.
Then last night he gets 10:34 in an important playoff game, a lot against the Ducks best players and does not look at all out of place or over matched.
Bollig (a solid NHLer who has 32 playoff games) only had 6:51... David Jones another big body got 11:40, mason Raymond 11:45.
Just based on last night's performance it would seem that Wolf has a decent chance to play somewhere in the NHL next year. He is a RFA and likely will not get much of chance with the Flames.... Bouma, Ferland, Bollig being ahead of him as power forwards.
