Solid line up. Not much wrong anywhere.

Not enough Canucks on that roster. Hopefully that can be fixed in short order.

Canada's goalies could be better, but not a bad line up at all. Should have some offense.

Edit: As opposed to the US!

So this is pretty much the only way oiler fans can cheer for their players in the spring. Canada has a pretty decent team, I'm sure a few players from teams out in the first round will join too.

I would have thought the Americans would have been able to ice a better team than that... Maybe American players don't put much stock into this tournament? I mean, even with his brutal season, Kessel is still better than every forward on that American team if you're looking for goal scoring.

That is a pretty impressive lineup for Canada.

Defense is obviously thin at this point, but that's actually a pretty impressive forward group. The goalies aren't anything to write home about, but not awful either.

One of the best looking Canada rosters I can remember recently. Goaltending could be better but they should have no problem scoring goals.

Who are the notable missing players that are healthy and not in the playoffs? Ryan Johansen and Logan Couture stand out. Anyone else?

Maybe a couple of Boston guys, but I am not sure if Hamilton is healthy.

Also not important but (maybe) worth mentioning;

Currently the World Championships Divison 1B are underway in The Netherlands.
Tunend in to the Holland - South Korea game and heard a familiar name in the Korean squad;

Mark Testwuide. Once part of the Flames organisation:
http://forum.calgarypuck.com/archive.../t-125196.html

Biggest guy on the ice and probably the best player on the ice.
To be honest, I fell asleep after the first period.

Korea trashing the Dutch 7-1. Testwuide finished the game with 2 assists.

No Flames on the roster. Hopefully it stays that way

Although I wouldn't mind if Jon Gillies gets an invite to Team USA. If a goalie from Yale can be invited, surely the reigning Hockey East goalie of the year and Frozen Four MVP would get some consideration.
