Today, Mealshare is launching 20 new partner restaurants in Calgary! That’s 20 more places which will feature Mealshare Items and share meals with those in need. Buy one, give one!

To celebrate, landmarks all over town are going to be lit up in orange. To raise awareness of the launch, and Mealshare we are having a twitter competition.

Here is a list of all the places that are going to be lit up!

– The Calgary Tower
– Langevin Bridge (East Village)
– 8th Ave Canopy Lights
– Olympic Plaza
– Telus Spark Centre
– Galleria Tree Structures by Bankers Hall

I mean, great cause but the timing is a little reminiscent of the fireworks for Canucks elimination variety.

Reminds me of leaving the 'Dome after Game 3 and the Calgary Tower being lit up with Green and Blue. Epic fail on their part!!!

To be fair, the timing was probably set quite a while ago. Not much they can do about that now.

This is....ultimately not that relevant, but still pisses me off. Social media fail of moderate degree. More unlucky than anything.
