While packing up for a move I found this stick hidden amongst my hockey possessions. I played with Ken Wregget's son in the late 90s (likely 98-99) and was fortunate enough to receive this stick from him as a gift. Its been sitting collecting dust for years but its finally going to be promoted to a wall mount in my new house.
Thing is, I can only identify one autograph on the stick, Iginla in picture #3 above the black triangle. I figured what better place than here to uncover who some of these players are, so I ask you, CP if any of these autographs look familiar to you. It is much appreciated.
3rd pick far right is "Steve Smith". I confirmed it by comparing his auto to those on Ebay. This has to be the 1998-1999 roster. It was the only one that had both Smith and Fleury. Here's the roster:
Just a question of matching up the signatures and names. Most of the autos have jersey #s beside them. The rest you should be able to figure out with ebay sales of the player's on the roster. Their will be signed hockey cards for sale on ebay for just about every player. Search for the player's name and "auto".
And yes, that team was awful...although pretty cool to own a piece of memorabilia with both Fleury and Iginla autos on it.
