URGENT JIHAD - Vote Chiarelli would be NO GOOD for Oilers role
Separating this from the Rumour thread of his interview, with the Oinkers.

Do your thing CP. I anticipate the poll closes within the next day. They must stay the course.

You know that Nicholson isn't making decisions based on a Sun poll right?

LOL.
Considering he was brought in due to turmoil, it wouldn't be unrealistic, that Katz heard the public opinion. Let's just temper that.

Why are people voting against this?
"Hm, let's bring in a new GM at a time when we have a number of young offensive talents who aren't living up to their potential on the trade block."
"Who should we get?"
"How about that guy who made the Seguin trade that set the Bruins back years?"
"Sold!"

"Urgent"? Really?
I don't worry about what they are doing at all. We are on the right path here. They will be hard-pressed to keep up with us.

I can see Bertuzzied smiling down from heaven and seeing how far his "Edmonton is no good" thread has come. God rest his soul.

I know this won't bring me any love, but what an embarrassment of a thread to this forum and flames fans.
This thread may be slightly in jest, but its underlining message is to sabotage a team who is trying to get better. Goodbye sportsmanship.

I think you may be over-estimating how much influence an Edmonton Sun poll has on hockey operations. Or anything else, for that matter.

Bah. The faster the oilers join the ranks of teams trying to win the less they'll be gifted nhl welfare help.
Hire chiarelli. It's about time they earned something.

Not that this thread will have any impact on what happens up the QE2, but Chia isn't exactly held in high regard in Boston these days. Sure, he was at the helm for the cup win in 2011, but the Bruins were almost out in the first round that year. An amazing save by Michael Ryder, multiple clutch OT goals by Nate Horton, Tim Thomas standing on his head...Chara. The Oil have none of this and Chia has been lambasted the last few years for handing out NTC's, over paying 3rd & 4th liners, not bettering the team and always evaluating. I wouldn't worry about any team he ends up on...
