Now that this is out, I'll tell everyone that I saw Bouma with a cast covering his wrist and hand.

The other one is Poirier, he never played in the 3rd period yesterday.
Assume he was hurt

Poirier was assigned back to Adirondack today. If it was a serious injury he would probably still be with Calgary.

I assumed the order of return would be Bouma, Ramo, Byron, Diaz. But that was before I read about Bouma's hand here. I think Ramo might be available in the first round if it goes long. I'm not optimistic about the rest.

Confirm too
I can also confirm the same from a source now that it is out. I did hint it in the other thread but no one seemed to pickup on it or wanted to hear it I guess.

Anyone know if its legal to wear a removable cast on your hand in the NHL? I could see issues with it if Bouma got into a fight, having a hard object on his hand could do some damage to another player. Just wondering, cause if he is allowed he probably could be back in 2 weeks if its just a thumb or something, I'm sure if I was him I would be wanting to be back in as soon as I could fit a glove over the cast and grip my stick.

You can wear a hard brace on your hand/wrist but it is a match penalty to fight with one on. I remember Souray having to take one off before he fought Iggy
and then he broke his hand

Man, not having Bouma is huge. The guy is a beast out there. Here's hoping to a quick recovery and getting to see him in time for round 3!

No question, but Ferland has look really really good in his spot. Can't wait to see him hammering Canucks left, right and center. Plus he's seemed to find the scoring touch he had in Addy.

If Ferland can play like he did against the kings he will fill Boumas role nicely. Then when Bouma gets back for round two we will have two of them.

Guessing his right based on what he was favouring coming off the ice, and in that behind-the-scenes video you can see his left which looks fine, but he keeps his right hidden.
