That massive house being built on HWY 22 between HWY 1 and HWY 8
How many people have seen this? Absolutely massive and possibly the biggest house in Calgary area? A coworker told me there is an article on it a Bragg Creek Newspaper, and I assume he was talking about High Country News, but I can't find the article- maybe in the May issue which hasn't been posted online yet.
Anyway, apparently it is 29,000 square feet with 9 car garage. The biggest bloody house I have ever seen!

 Posted the 6 millionth post!

It is a Chinese magnate building it if I remember correctly. Has two security checkpoints as well.
Seems overly hedonistic to me.

Haven't seen it myself, did this build start recently?
Not surprised though, there are some amazing properties on that highway when traveling west from Calgary. Would be nice to be able to buy land out there.

It seemed to go up fairly quick. Will stop and snap a pic next time I am in the area- although perhaps some other CPers take that route daily?

My g/f's dad lives in Turner Valley so we head that way a fair bit but haven't been out since Fall. Looking forward to seeing this monster. Found some references on another site (no pics) and it sounds impressive. And they seem to be saying the same thing as Ozy, owned by a Chinese dood.
Wish I had the bankroll this guy has.

Must be the guy that invented ginger beef. I'd imagine he's the only one deserving of such a palatial domicile.

Who needs a house that big regardless of how much money you have?

All that money, and they are basically just building an even bigger version of a McMansion.
Rich people with no taste are such a wasted opportunity.
