Pretty crazy to see that with 1 game to go for all bar 2 of the PO teams, not one series is set in stone yet. Going to be some frantic planning on Saturday evening and Sunday day.
I think it matches up as:
Anaheim v Winnipeg
Vancouver v Calgary
St Louis v Minnesota
Nashville v Chicago
Can't call the East, too wide open.

how do they decide the wild card matchups?
I thought Winnipeg/Anaheim was set because Jets will finish 5th in that division no matter what, but is it highest point total vs lowest?

It is highest vs lowest, #1 vs. #8 and the other div winner vs. first wild card team. The Jets could be playing the Blues in the 1st round.

I hope it's Winnipeg and Anaheim. That would almost be like an old Smythe Division bracket for the Pacific, three Canadian teams and a Southern California team.
It would also open the door for the C of Red vs the White Out for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Every team in is really hard to beat. Even Vancouver has proved surprisingly resilient this season.
It's going to be good.

That's the way it should be, but that is not the way it is.
A cross over would be way better than a Wild Card. It would keep the divisional playoff format in tacked more or less.

Thought I'd bump this because we have our first match up, the Caps will play the Islanders, although who has home advantage still needs deciding for that one.
So, with 1 game to go for everyone, we have no idea who will play who in 6 of the series and the other 2 still need home ice being sorted. Incredible.

Thanks just came here to edit the OP. give me 2 minutes.
Edit. we do know the match ups for 2 of the series. But not home ice in either of them. Allot of the questions will be answered by 5:00pm tomorrow.
The last most interesting story lines will probably be
Bos vs TB. Is Tampa playing for a division title and is Boston playing for a playoff spot.
&
Van vs. Edm. Is Vancouver playing for Home Ice advantage.

Looks like Minnesatos will not win, so Nashville will be hosting Chicago. and Sadly, it looks like Vancouver has locked up home ice.

The Islanders are in Over time, they are now tied with Washington is Points & ROW. I believe Washington holds the head to head tie breaker. So the Islanders need an overtime or shoot out win for home ice advantage.

Got a lil' coin on Montreal, I love the Ottawa story.. hell I even like the team more. That being said, Montreal is going to the finals.
