Question???? Draft Lotto Date and who do you want to win it??
1st off when do we get to see the ping-pong balls decide the McDavid cup???
Also as this is probably the biggest draft in a decade who are you pulling for to "win the lotto"????
As I live on the west coast and am continually forced to watch TSN focus on the leafs (even though they suck and there were so many awesome Canadian stories this year) I'm hoping for the Leafs to win the lotto.
I know, not a popular choice. Really though if I'm going to be forced to watch/hear about the Leafs it may as well be exciting/positive for once.

1) Saturday, April 18
2) Columbus Blue Jackets
If the Leafs win, I'm going to puke. Canadian top prospect to Toronto? It'd be unbearable.

Buffalo (20.0%)
Arizona (13.5%)
Edmonton (11.5%)
Toronto (9.5%)
Carolina (8.5%)
New Jersey (7.5%)
Philadelphia (6.5%)
Columbus (6.0%)
San Jose (5.0%)
Colorado (3.5%)
Florida (3.0%)
Dallas (2.5%)
Los Angeles (2.0%)
Boston (1.0%)
Columbus or Carolina would be my hopes.
Keep the big two out East, but small market and definitely not Toronto.

What do you think about the Devils instead? Cool having NJ competing again

Columbus went 15-1-1 in their last 17. Would rather reward them than one of those tankers.

Not LA, he would likely fix a lot of the problems they are about to have.
Anyone but Toronto in the East looks real good to me.
Carolina, Philly, Columbus all sound like great locations.

Wouldn't be the worst team to win it, but I'm not a fan of them. They won quite a bit for years, plus they kind of annoy me the way they lost their 1st round pick for the Kovy contract but then had the league modify the punishment and award them 30th overall at last years draft.

I want the Bruins to win it for maximum Toronto / Montreal meltdowns.

They would probably just end up trading him to Dallas...

Columbus or Carolina would be good for me.
no to oilers or leafs. and I hope that it doesn't go to a team that just missed the playoffs.
my oilies pals now say Strome over Hannifin. either way, I feel for the young man that is about to have his skills flatlined.

This new lottery is great for maximum trolling. There's 31% chance that a team that made the 2013/2014 playoffs will get McDavid...which is higher than the chance Buffalo will get McDavid.

It has to be Columbus. The fan base there has gone through a lot and it would be well deserved as opposed to rewarding the biggest tankers.

Conspiracy theories if TO or Arizona gets it. After a few other years (Crosby to Pens?) I myself wonder. Not every year, but important years.
Edmonton wins and we know it's not fixed, as I doubt the NHL wants them to win another. However, that would really suck too.
Don't like Buffalo anymore, never got why they were considered such an exciting team over the last decade, not really any more successful than Calgary. Just had two years in a row with a fast team.
But I guess they are the safe bet.

Anyone but Buffalo, Edmonton, Toronto, Colorado, LA and Boston. The latter 2 should make do with their current rosters and not get a superstar to help them retool. Colorado have had 2 1st overall picks in the last few years, also traded to get another. Thats more than enough for them. They don't need McDavid, they have MacKinnon and Duchene.
Toronto and Edmonton, well, nuff said on those 2. Buffalo, well, don't reward tankers.
Of the realistic teams to win, it has to be Carolina or New Jersey.
