Default Which Seats Would You Choose?

I've secured 4 tickets to Game 1 in Vancouver, but can't decide which seat I should choose. Both tickets are in Section 116, with one pair in Row 17 (in green in the picture below) and the other pair in Row 3 (in yellow), right behind the Calgary bench.

I figure Row 17 will have much better sight lines to watch the game, while Row 3 would put you "closer" to the game and the Flames.

Which ones would you pick?

They're both awful choices and you'd have a better time watching on TV...I'll do you a favour and take them off your hands, no need to thank me, I'm just a nice guy.

I'd go with the closer seats, might enable to hear the better and chatter better.

Row 17 without a doubt.

Row 17.

Sitting behind the bench is fun for the first few minutes of the game, then it's just annoying because you can't see most of the game.

I would pick Row 17. I had tickets behind the visitors bench for a couple of years and the only good things were the novelty (for giving them away) and getting to be on national TV. For watching the game, they were really bad - every time something exciting happened the players would all stand up and you couldn't see a thing. Also by the third period it really smelled. I'm in Row 13 now and the view is way better, I'm assuming Row 17 would be similar.

Although if it's a one-off it might be more interesting for you to be behind the Flames bench, even if you can't see most of the play.

Thanks folks, I think I'll take the Row 17 seats and give my friends the Row 3 ones!

My wife and I are planning on going to Vancouver for game 2 if we can get tickets. Can you let me know if you have a inside track for game 2?
