Default Sam Bennett/Kingston Frontenacs discussion

5:05 Mountain Start. Might have to have dual monitors going tonight while I watch the Flames as well. What are your expectations for Bennett tonight? I understand its his first game since the pre season but I feel he's gonna rip it up especially after all the muscle gained and the time up with the Flames during the last few months.

This would be the first time I would be interested in sitting down and watching an OHL game. Usually I would just watch highlights but I would love to see how Sam plays tonight after such a long time not playing.

Should be a fun one, I am sure he is so excited.

Hopefully he can pot a couple of points and get on a nice roll. The kid just wants to play and with the experience of living the NHL life for a bit, I think he'll be more motivated then ever.

Being up with the team has got to have a positive impact. It has to be a humbling experience.

Its his first game in ages. As long as he gets through it ok and starts getting his game legs... I'm fine with it.

If I had to guess, the pace and degree of difficulty of practice for the flames would probably be greater then junior team. I think he builds off that and has a strong start.

Im not so sure he is playing tonight. On the Kingston Frontenacs homepage it says "Bennett returns next home game vs. Sudbury on Friday, February 27."

http://www.kingstonfrontenacs.com

It says that on the pre-ad before you actually enter the website.

That would be his first home game in Kingston and they are advertising it to sell tickets.

Been already reported by multiple sources that he would be playing tonight.

Haha thanks Sureloss, I just didn't see any link in the OP that was saying he was in tonight for sure.

My guess is he'll want to see what he can thump with the extra 14 lbs. Burke mentioned.

Anything short of a hat-trick of Gordie Howe hat-tricks tonight means he's a bust.

He's already a bust, Sam Reinhart played 9 NHL games and Bennett didn't.
