Goaltending going forward
It seems Hartley is riding Ramo into the playoffs who will be a UFA. Ortio will need a full time spot next year and Hiller still has term so if Ramo takes us into the post season what would you do after all is said and done? Do we re-sign Ramo and move Hiller? Keep Hiller and let Ramo walk? I am on the re-sign Ramo and try and move Hiller train myself.

I am with you, I'd prefer to re-sign Ramo and move Hiller.
1. IMO Ramo is just as good if not better than Hiller
2. Ramo is younger
3. Better asset management this way, if you believe #1 is true

Ramo is from Finland. Finland has worked out well for us!
Seriously though, I feel Ramo gives far less drama in the net. I'd prefer to re-sign him and trade Hiller at the draft.

Re-sign Ramo and keep Hiller. You need goaltending depth just like every other position. Let Ortio gain more experience in the AHL. Re-assess your asset value at seasons end.

I like both. Keep whichever comes cheaper for next year, hopefully Ortio proves himself a Bonafide #1. Hopefully Gillies is also signed and adjusts according to plan to the AHL and can provide depth.

Pretty sure I remember hearing that Ortio is on a one way contract next season.

If developing him in the AHL is the right thing to do, then good for him, he just gets a massive pay raise next year to play for the Heat.

Ortio's contract becomes a one-way next season. He'll be with the Flames, it's just a question of who else.
It's tough as it's almost a wash between Hiller and Ramo, but not enough of one to simply make the easy choice and let Ramo walk. Someone might be willing to give up something decent for Hiller.

Wouldn't this mean he would need to clear waivers to be brought up/sent down.
Not sure he clears.
Also, from the short amount of work we've seen, it's entirely possible that Ortio is better than either Ramo or Hiller.

Why can he not develop in the NHL?

I feel like Ramo has the ability to be lights out on any given night, a tad more so than Hiller. That being said, Hiller has been absolutely key to a few comeback wins (Once Ramo was pulled) and his pad save on Washington with time expiring in regulation earlier this season was to me the save of the year. Instead of 0 points (which looked certain) we nabbed two. I remember thinking that night if we somehow make playoffs, look back at that highlight and that could be a major reason why.
its a tough call.

Its a great problem to have, I like the tandem we've got going but Ortio has to be on the big club next year.
I like Ramo but I'd rather keep Hiller. I just find Hiller to be steadier. When Ramo is on hes great but hes less consistent.

Average goalies are a dime a dozen in this league. I wouldn't keep Ramo. You get that average .914 save percentage with HIller and Ortio can split the games and play the same role Ramo has this season. If he can't... There are always plenty of goalies available for mid round picks.

I want to see what Ramo can do in the playoffs this year before I know how I feel about him

I'd take Ramo in Edmonton, relegating Scrivens to backup duty and giving Brossoit another full year in the AHL to develop.

If you have a one way contract pretty sure you have to clear waivers.

Why does Ortio need a NHL slot? Hes on a one-way, he can still be the starter in stockton?
