That's really cool. I love looking at old National Geographics and other magazines specifically for the old ads in them.

From 1980 - current rates with TELUS with no long distance plan from a land line are $0.05 per minute.

lol, brings back memories. You'd be talking long distance to the grandparents or friends, etc on Christmas Day or a birthday or something and Dad saying "ok, let's make 'er quick here, that bills starting to add up!"

Screw long distance, in the UK local calls were 20c a minute.
