So they must make 2 pitstops where they change cars? So is there one car in the pit stall waiting for them to pull in behind?
I wonder what network will carry those races, I'm curious to see how it all plays out.

last corner, Heidfeld and Prost battle for the win ... and Prost ruins it for both with a rookie mistake. Good to see Heidfeld escape without any injuries, this could have been very ugly.

It is a bit different watching this type of race. The motors have a whine, but since it isn't anywhere near as loud as a regular engine you can hear the occasional tire chirp when they go around corners and so on.
As for changing cars, at approximately the half way point, they pull into their garage, get out of one car and hop into a waiting car. They must be there for at least one minute. It doesn't take that long but that is the minimum they are required to stay simply to endure they don't rush getting the driver belted into the 2nd car.
This season the cars are pretty much identical - winning and losing is primarily dependant on driving skill. Next season the rules are opened up to allow many more variables and experimentation.
Interesting to watch, I will be curious to see the changes next season.
