Sharks Win 4th Straight Game!

The San Jose Sharks got their 4th straight victory last night over the Colorado Avalanche, despite the loss of their top Centre Kyle Turris and a massive re-tooling of the lines with the move of Brad Richardson back to centre and welcoming Luca Sbisa into the lineup after a stint on the IR. The Sharks are now 2nd in the league for winning streaks behind the Nashville Predators who have currently won 6 in a row.
The Sharks were led by Chris Kunitz and the powerplay, with Kunitz potting a pair of goals and the PP going 2 for 6 on the night. James Neal also added a pair of assists on the night.
Prior to the game, Avalanche GM was quoted as saying “Pfft, I’m not scared” and fully warned that if I won, this quote would be included in the post-game write up.
The Sharks will try to tie a season high 5 game winning streak when they take on the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday.
