The Sharks are now looking for a high powered, industrial strength washer to get the stank that having an Oiler player on the team left. The only way Howard was coming to this team is if we promised to burn Scrivens stall to the ground, vacuum up the ashes and then burn the vacuum to ensure the no good didn't rub off on him.
(Also, the way Hesla immediately pursued Scrivens over all other goalies in my system, I'm concerned he may be a closet Oilers fan. That bear in a Flames jersey is just a cover!

)
Seriously though, while Saad has been a VERY protected player in trades so far for me, the opportunity to land a legit #1 goalie was too much to pass up and I was finally willing to let go. I think Howard is an immediate correction to a position of weakness on the team and at 30 years old and still with 2 years left on the contract, it was a deal that made sense to make. Korpikoski is a player that I think is on his way to do a little better now too with the current state of the actual Coyotes and feel he will bring some younger depth to my current state of Wingers.
