Sorry to start a thread on this but I'm in the area and wouldnt mind catching the next couple of games. Given this area is full of alberta expats, are there any Flame friendly bars or failing that, any bars with centre ice? I know some co members are in the area so appreciate any guidance.

Don't know about up there but in Victoria "Darcy's" is a Flames friendly bar. They in fact used to have a giant Flames flag flying above the entrance. It has been taken down unfortunately but for years that gave me a chuckle every time I was downtown.

There is a Boston Pizza in Parksville, there is also Deez's in Qualicum Beach and tonight is wings night at Deez's which has great food.
