It was great to see Ramo rebound after those 2 early goals. He didn't get down on himself and got stronger as the game went on.

Hartley could have pulled him but didn't which surprised me. Credit to Hartley for giving Ramo a chance to redeem himself.

Ryan Kesler is always a great choice to be the goat. Well desrved by him.

Good win for the Flames, Wideman made a couple nice plays to set up the young guys in the second.

Luongo really is this player to me. Seems like a great guy and I'm glad he is out of Canuckistan so I can cheer for him. But Kesler is still a ######nozzle.

I laughed at "Toronto Maple Leafs horror show". Perfect description.

Well done, sir.

Also, just a small quibble, but the NHL rule for goals by a high stick is that contact must be made below the crossbar of the net, not the player's shoulders, or waist. This is an important point when it comes to a player of Gaudreau's stature. While I believe the referee got this one right, I also think that the call was much closer than it appeared on TV.

"The Flames fall back into that smart zone coverage thing they do that freaks fans out but keep the blue chip chances away from Ramo."

What coverage is this?

What coverage is this?
- don't chase the puck carrier hard on the perimeter
- yield possession to opposition at the perimeter
- collapse lower so passes can't get through
- block shots
- spring on turnovers
