Guess what I'm getting at is I couldn't imagine a player like Giordano or Iginla tweeting something like that. To be honest though I didn't read what got Willie so mad. I assume it's just typical Healy dumbassery. Has he escalated to beyond moronic?

I think Healy said something about how the Bruins should be embarrassed to be fighting for a playoff spot against a team like the Panthers... basically just taking a dump on them for no reason.
Nice to see someone call him out for that. The guy himself is an embarrassment.

Healy's basically a troll, I would say ignore him and he'll go way but that's not possible here. Why is he still employed? He's pretty much universally hated as a broadcaster. Does Rogers actually believe he helps with ratings? I'm pretty sure people are going to watch hockey games regardless of Healy's presence.

Mitchell's been my favorite player on the Panthers all year long and has been the biggest reason for the turnaround of a team that was plain awful for many years in a row. He's won me over in a big way for how he commands respect from everyone around him, and helps to teach the young players how to play the right way. There's been other veteran contributions that have helped the Panthers, but nobody means more to this team than Mitchell.
These comments have cemented his status as one of my favorite NHL players, period. All that Canuck (and to a lesser extent, King) stink is washed off him now. Love this guy. Way to stick up for the team when getting unfairly bashed by a stupid blowhard.
Bobby Lou's comment is just icing. Love what's going on with the Panthers right now. You might see a Lightning/Panthers first round matchup, which would be extremely fun to continue building the rivalry.
