I'm currently living out of province and wondering if it is worth the cost of flying to Calgary and the cost of registration for the conference in April? I'm currently looking for a junior environmental scientist (geoscience background) type position in Calgary and this conference looks like it could be a really good networking opportunity. The only downside is that it's a considerable expense for me. The content looks interesting as well, but if I spend the money to go the primary motivation would be networking in the hopes of finding a job. If you have been to this conference in the past I would love to hear any comments, and whether you think it would be helpful for networking towards getting a job.
Thanks in advance for any comments
