Default Man stabbed, then decapitated on grey hound bus

This is a very messed up story and I cant believe this happened right here in Canada!
If you can watch the video of this guy describing what happened, it sounds like something right out of a Jason movie.

I feel exactly like the Canada AM talking head guy:

Wow, I am stunned. Did the suspect and victim know each other or was this random?

Hopefully our justice system ensures this man stays in prison for the remainder of his pathetic life.

I think we'll now see security checks similar to airports now on bus rides.

I really have no idea what to say to that. It is just the weirdest attack that I have heard of. Then there is the part where they said he was standing there with the knife in one hand and the head in another, it does sound like a scene out of a horror movie.
Just wow.

Watching the attached video it appears to be totally random. Some loser with a knife that has no better way to vent out his pathetic existence.

My thoughts go out to the victim and his family. Tragic and senseless.

I can't believe no one else got hurt. Great job from the bus driver for sure. Imagine if he stole the greyhound?

Surprised no one is poking fun at the Edmonton connection...

But yah, I can't imagine what the victim's family is going through. Horrible story.

This is really scary. I though I was dreaming it when it came on the news when my radio woke me up this morning. I used to take the bus home at Christmas and Easter all the time when I was in University, so I've spent a lot of time on the Greyhound. It's really scary to think that some random person sitting next to you on the bus could do that to you.

If it's not Oilers or Eskimos related, I poke no fun at the city. My hatred towards the city is only sports related.

Unfortunatley, these awful incidents can happen anywhere from big cities (Dalhousie killings) to small towns (Mayerthorpe/Merritt).

I was going to, but one would figure the people fleeing Edmonton would be the sane ones...
