I think hes done a great job, hes probably just retiring or moving on to something different. How long has he been doing it now? It seems like hes been the Chief of Police forever.

My uncle is a police officer and had nothing but good things to say about Rick as his boss. Best of luck to him and thank you for your service.

He must be planning to run for the provincial tories. How many nominations are still to take place in Calgary?

He'll be the next solicitor general.

I thought he did a great job. Far better than his predecessor.

Hope the next person on the chain is more like him.

I've tried several different searches both on google and city sites and I can't find her name or her years served as chief.

Hanson seemed like such a down to earth, nice guy. You can imagine how he would be a great police officer. Seems like a pretty fair guy, and it sure seems like people who work for him are quite fond of his leadership style.

He always seemed super nice in news interviews. Seemed very humble.
Best of luck in whatever he does.
