Default February 13, just five games.

There are no games on national television

This is a big inter-conference game as it impacts the
playoff race for both teams. Benn and Spezza have
scored so far, 2-0 Stars after one period.

This is the other big inter-conference game.
The Bruins have a small lead over the Panthers
for the eighth playoff spot in the eastern conference.
The Canucks are in the dog pile for a division or wild
card spot with the Stars and Sharks.

Philly and Columbus tied at 3 late in the 3rd.

New Jersey up 1-0 on Chicago early in the 2nd. What the #### is up with the Blackhawks lately?

Yeah! 2-0 Yotes. On goals by 3-time waiver man Mark Arcobello & Martin Erat.

Erat's goal was on the power play, 2-0 Coyotes after one period. It looks like Mike Smith is ready for this game.

There was ceremony for Scott Hartnell playing in his 1000th career NHL game and the BJs beat the Flyers 4-3 in overtime.

Sure would be great if Arizona and Boston could pull through for us. The teams behind us aren't going away but if the teams above us stay within reach we can move out of the wildcard spot by just passing one of them and be safe from the central teams.

Are all the teams playing the Canucks slumping or are the Canucks hot? The Hawks and Bruins both stinking out the joint against them.

Canucks certainly aren't hot, they have been alternating W/L since the all star break

It does seem like the canucks keep winning lately against top teams. It is still early tonight though, it is 2-1 now, that's a good sign.

In the Dallas game Seguin taken out with a low hit, looks like his knee could be busted up pretty good. Then Eaves taken out with a shot to the head, laid on the ice for a long while not moving. Tough night for them.

Worth noting that Arizona's first goal was from Arcobello and their second goal assisted from Gagner

Goodrow scores for the Sharks and it's now 3-2. Stupid Yotes can't do anything right. Boo!

I can accept SJ winning if it means Boston comes back and beats Vancouver. I'll make that trade every time!

Shots are 9-1 vancouver in the second. Not sure that's gonna happen at this rate.
