Is that from last year? Gaudreau can probably be removed...

Josh Jooris has prospect status but Sven Baertshi doesn't?

their cutoff criteria is 65 NHL games or 24 years. Sven has now played 66 games.

Drew Shore shouldn't be that high obviously.

HF's random cutoff is 65 NHL games. Sven has 66.

Yeah must be old, Jooris and Gaudreau should be removed. Sven should be added, that leaves room for Ze Volf.

Edit. NM just saw the 65 game thing.

Who on that list do you think he is ahead of?

I actually dont think its a horrible list, just find it a little weird that they cut sven off at 66 games and have Johnny and Jooris on the list still. I'd put Ortio a little higher.

Jankowski at 20th is a joke. He is nearly a ppg player for the most defensive team in the NCAA.

Jooris and Gaudreau shouldn't be on the list, Baertschi should be.

Jankowski is above Reinhart, Hawnowski, Agostino, Kanzig, Culkin, Arnold.

Their reasoning is lazy at best. He's improved each season and is just below a PPG pace this season with 20 points in 24 games, yet they say he hasn't improved enough to "maintain" his position? Makes no sense.

lol

Poirier's ranking should be higher too. He should be in the top 5 at least, and personally I'd have him in the top 3.

Versus our rankings in the past two summers

Clearly if we were to rank things now on the same 65 game cut off Jooris would move up from 35 and Reinhart lower than 8th. Culkin would have moved up as well

Otherwise they're pretty close.

Hard for me to read any of those names on the list without my brain subliminally adding "fricken". Thanks a lot CP.

Anyways that list is completely crazy, it seems almost arbitrary to be honest. Sieloff goes from 7 to 11 after having a year a lot would describe as less than ordinary while Jankowski goes from 9 to 20th after having a pretty damn good season and showing improvement every year.

Interesting that Shore is ranked in the top 5. Looking like a good trade for us still.

That site tends to be a long way behind in their evaluations, and not updated very often.

That said, if you remove Johnny and Jooris, not much to complain about IMO. Granlund you could argue is a legit high spot because of his successful minutes played in the NHL. Ortio could move up on that basis. Not sure why some people rank Shore lower - he's an AHL all star forward so something like a Poirier.

From what I understand Seiloff is way too high on the list, and should be below Culkin. I don't know enough about the college game to understand Jankowski's stats, but I understand he's not a first line player on his team.

I wouldn't have him that high... I'd drop wotherspoon down to 10 then swap Poirier and Shore and then swap Kanzig and Jankowski.
