Sabres trade Jonas Enroth to Stars for Anders Lindback and conditional 2016 3rd

DAL acquires G Jonas Enroth from BUF.

If Jonas Enroth wins 4 playoff games for DAL, BUF gets 2nd round pick instead of 3rd. That's the condition. But BUF guaranteed at least 3rd.

Lindback has been horrible and Enroth was the only reason Buffalo even went on that streak earlier. Nice pick up by Dallas, Buffalo motivated to get McDavid
|

Gives the Stars two solid goalies. Lindback is absolutely terrible.
Lindback is 2-8-0 this season with terrible numbers.
Lehtonen is 23-12-8 with ok numbers.
If the Stars have a competent back up all year they are probably in a playoff spot right now.

There goes the full tanking mode. Traded their top D Myers, one of their best forward and now their top goalie for a goalie who couldn't even hack it in Dallas. So pretty much their only addition for this late season who can play is D Zach Bogosian. Wow, Buffalo sure really wants McDavid that bad. Oh well it is better that Buffalo or Carolina get the the top 2 picks than the Coilers.
Only bad part is they are helping the teams the Flames are fighting for the playoff spot.
