To the OP, part of the reason for the lack of serious responses is the lack of info in your post. What types of issues are you having; both with the car and places you have taken it. What part of the city are you in?

Define "reliable"
- Fast
- Quality
- Cheap
(Pick one; or at least rank them in order of importance.)

If you're in the NW, Hawkwood Auto is pretty amazing.

I know a guy in Penbrook that I trust with all my cars, can't say if he is available or convenient to you, of course.

Sell it and get something else the sooner the better.

I'd sell it and get something much better. Like a rusted out mid 90's Plymouth Neon

Geeze...how about trying to help...

Maybe OP cannot afford a newer car.

Anyways...

I have heard good things about Ravi at Minute muffler in the NE...round 32nd and
19 street. There is a thread on beyond.ca about him. All good reports if I recall.

A friend of a friend owns Braeside Auto in the SW...that's where I take my truck and car for things I don't do myself.

Outside of that it may really depend on the work you need done.

Brakes / oil changes etc...pretty standard...head gasket....probably what some others are suggesting above.

Car would not be worth what you would have to put into it.

Good luck.

That's why my suggestion is perfect. While still a massive improvment

I'm sorry but if you bought a PT Cruiser at some point in your life you deserve a little friendly ribbing. That thing is just....well....I can't find the words.

A-1 Autobody is best for body work. Not sure what kind of repairs you're talking about.

If you look at kijiji PT cruisers are worth about half of what a comparable non PT cruiser costs. They are ridiculously cheap.

That said I couldn't buy one because they are a PT Crusier

Is it one of those PT Cruisers that has the faux-wood paneling on it?
