Which team is Ravi? I'll be sure not to go 2 for 2.

Just trade him a Flame and he's guaranteed to overpay...then you'll be safe.

At least they won't have to worry about you making an offer.

Looks like I picked a bad day to quit trading with rookies

Also let me just say that in my first week as GM of the Canucks mostly everyone here has been very helpful and kind. Even though I am a fan of the enemy. I am very excited for when we start the draft and free agency and especially look forward to the start of the season. I plan to be here for the long haul too, so no getting rid of me...

Hey guys, in all honesty if you need some help on anything feel free to PM me. I would be more than happy to help out. If you have any general 'how to' questions or whatever, I will do my best to answer. I will be happy to advise you on trades as well, but given my less than stellar track record I can't promise excellent trade advice!

I too would like to say thank you to everyone I've spoken to so far (about trades or otherwise). Everyone has been very honest and genuinely seem like they are trying to help. I am sure I will probably be asking questions throughout the off-season and even into next season, so I hope I am not too annoying to anyone!

Best advice I can give is to talk to others about deals and offers. Get 2nd and 3rd opinions and understand why another gm likes or does like the value. Asset value is by far the hardest part of this game and it really is not comparable at all to nhl style trades...so don't expect to make many of those.
Also, give up all hope of understanding the sim. It is a cruel hag only around to infuriate you.
Oh, and for the love of Christmas, be active! Post, trade, bitch...just be involved.

All new GMs will also have all trades scrutinized by the league before a trade is accepted, for the first few weeks or so. There are many cases where we do not accept deals and ask you to go back to the table. This is for your own good.

Seriously though, any time anyone needs to ask a question, feel free to ask, everyone on here is pretty good at knowing the ins and outs of the game.
