Can you imagine something like this integrated with games? I can only imagine NHL 25 - Microsoft HoloLens compatible, and when you want to make a trade, you actually sit in a boardroom with other GM's and/or executives (real or AI) and hammer out a deal. Hell, you could even sit at a draft table on draft day, and go up on stage, make your pick, and watch your 1st round pick come up on stage and virtually shake hands with him.

That would be crazy. I'm really liking what I have heard from Microsoft over the past couple days. They announced Fable Legends will be the first cross platform multiplayer game. Looks like a Fable version of WOW. Pretty cool stuff.

The massive shift in business practices at Microsoft since Sataya took over is nothing short of stunning. Microsoft has stopped trying to follow and is pushing technology once again. That is great news for the industry.

Windows 10 will be free for the first year for Windows 7 and up users, that's pretty different for Microsoft too

That would require effort from the NHL development team though. We should count ourselves lucky if we just have online couch co-op back in the game by then!

This is a pretty large misunderstanding of what Fable Legends is. It's more like a Fable version of Gauntlet.

Either way it's gonna be pretty good. Doesn't seem to have the open world Pvp elements but should be good anyway.

I'm not entirely sure -- visually it's really nice but the Fable series for some reason keeps moving further and further from what made the first two (and kind of the third) games succesful -- a large, open world action-RPG that bases a lot of what happens on choice and consequence. Fable Heroes and the Fable The Journey were downright bad, and a 4-player dungeon crawler is a pretty drastic departure and simplistic take on the formula.

Fable should be like a light hearted version of The Witcher in gameplay style, not sure why they insist on experimenting with that series.

Who's the guy introducing the new toy? He kind of makes my skin crawl.

EDIT: AND, he has stupid hair.

It is baffling that he was chosen to present the product. His voice is close to nails on a chalkboard at times.

If this thing becomes reality it truly changes the industry. I liken this to when Steve Jobs presented the iPhone.

The smart thing is that this is baked into Windows 10 so any developer can build Apps for it. I showed the video to my teenage kids and they just couldn't believe it.

It's better than than that last buffoon presenter for Microsoft who was jumping up and down with his phony enthusiasm.

The video showing Minecraft looked awesome. How close is Microsoft to actually producing this? The video looked a bit too polished to be real, but maybe I am being jaded..

According to the press who have covered it, they got to try it out and it is as the video shows, which is pretty slick. Timelines, I've heard "sometime this year" in public.
