The Amazing Race - Season 26

They are switching things up this season with 5 teams being made up of singles on "the most extreme blind date ever" and then 6 dating couples.

Note that they have moved the show around the schedule again. It is now in a more favourable spot following Survivor on Wednesdays. It debuts Feb 25 right after the Survivor debut.



Aly Dudek (24) & Steve Langton (31)
Dating 7 months. Aly is an Olympic bronze medalist in short track, Steve is also a bronze medalist in bobsled.


Blair Townsend (31) & Hayley Keel (28)
Singles. Blair is a physician and active duty Navy doctor, Hayley is a registered nurse (trauma and pediatric)


Harley Rodriguez (41) & Jonathan Knight (46)
Dating 7 years. Harley is a bootcamp fitness instructor and every teenage girl in the late 80 and early 90s can tell you who Jonathan is.


Jeff Magee (57) & Lyda Grawn (49)
Dating for 4 years after 20 year friendship. Jeff is a pilot and Lyda a flight attendant. Both for Southwest Airlines.


Matt Cucolo (30) & Ashley Gordon (28)
Friends for 10 years, dating for 3. Matt is a Master Hairstylist, while Ashley is merely a hairstylist.


Tyler Adams (26) & Laura Pierson (29)
Singles. Tyler is a co-founder of some app called HORSE (video challenging app) and Laura is a talent booker for TV.


Bergen Olson (23) & Kurt Jordan Belcher (24)
Singles. Berken is a HR manager while Kurt is a pageant consultant.


CJ Harris (26) & Lebya Simpson (25):
Dating for 10 years. CJ is in IT and Lebya is a medical support assistant.


Jackie Ibarra (27) & Jeffrey Weldon (26)
Singles. Jackie is a dancer and Jeffrey is a Sales Executive.


Jelani Roy (32) & Jenny Wu (32)
Singles. Jelani is a lawyer and sports agent and Jenny is a fashion lawyer and blogger


Rochelle Nevedal (29) & Mike Dombrowski (26)
Dating 8 months. Rochelle is a project engineer and MIke is a pro-wrestling promoter and truck stop manager.

Only the season premiere will be on after Survivor. The rest of the season will air on Fridays, the same as the last race.

Well looks like we may be short so we'll continue on anyways.
-No amazing race team can be picked more than twice, but they can be selected at any time (i.e. not all teams need to be picked prior to a team being selected a second time)
-serpentine draft (unless major complaints)
-numbers 1 to 9 based on the order of response to the post
-random number generators (6 and 8 year olds) selected the order
-posters wanting to join the pool following the draft can have the scraps
-prize is internet bragging rights
