My takes
- Colbourne with very low toi - don't know why.
- Johny can struggle all game but only needs a play or 2 to make you forget his mistakes.
- Kings got away with a ridiculous amount of stock infractions
- We had momentum for all of 5 minutes and then Glencross went to the box and we never got it back.
- Kings played a hell of a game and we played terrible, lucky it wasn't 8-3
- Wolf should have been in the lineup for his size and grit, upgrade on Stajan in a game like this.
Forget this one and stomp the nucks!

The only thing worse than a Flames loss is Cancer... Or 2 Flames losses... And no Bacon.

Flames got stomped
anyone blaming Hiller needs their heads examined
on to the next one no need to bail on the team after every loss

Just an ugly ugly game from the Flames. Need to be so much better vs the Canucks and beyond. We got the last goal though, so hah.

We did get outplayed. However, it was one of the worst refed games I've ever seen. The Kings got away with too much, it changed the flow of the game. It made dirty play and interference perfectly acceptable, how are we going to win if that happens? We won't.

Brutal officiating tonight. Refs let everything go all night, only to call a weak hold on Wideman.
LA came to play and brought there physics game. Seemed like players were trying to do so much as individuals and not enough with teammates.
#*^ I hope LA misses the playoffs

Did you even read my post or are you being obtuse on purpose?
I said the shots are closer to 25 than 14, not that it was 25. I never once said they missed half the shots.
Don't kid yourself, blah blah blah.

Why does it always seem like the Flames play the Kings in Los Angeles?

Meh. It was a lesson in playoff hockey, and the Kings brought their A game. We didn't. Some uncharacteristically terrible passing and a couple of glorious chances wasted by some of our top players. Hudler seemed really off his game too, that always hurts.
Looking at all of the above, I can't be too upset at the result. I think we can beat one of Vancouver or San Jose in the standings, and that should be enough to get us to the playoffs.

Someone should rewatch and count all the Flames shots to see how many they missed this time.
Wasn't it like 30-17 LA "officially" last game and someone went through again and actually counted MORE Flames shots on goal?
Dem Staples Center stats..

Yes, certain rinks are known for certain things. LA rink is known for their atrocious shot counting.
That being said, Flames were outplayed by a fair margin, but shots weren't nearly as bad as NHL.com

3 of the last 4 were in LA.
However the 3 previous to that were all at home.
