I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he went so long without dirty incidents. This is the second incident in less than a year's time, that I can remember. Likely he has another one or two since last year.
Can't wait for him to retire.

Am I crazy for thinking if Weber didn't come in with his stick up like he did this doesn't happen? In no way shape or form am I defending Matt Cooke, but it looked like he was just getting his stick up in response to Webers and unfortunately while trying to go over (Webers stick) he went too high. Slow motion makes it look worse.

The linesmen didn't exactly rush over to protect Cooke... still wish #59 let Weber get a few more shots in.

Has that changed?
