'Canes are 6-4 in our last 10, not the greatest but slowly things are starting to come together. Smid and Schenn are a +3 and a +1 since the trade and although that isn't much to others.... inside the origination only the Bergeron is the only line that are not in the negative numbers on the team

It's a tough position because I know that the playoffs isn't a reality so I need to make moves like selling of Glencross to better myself for next year.... But I'm also aware that out of the bottom teams I an NOT the team McDavid should go to

I do know I have a way better team on paper then our record dictates, I over looked a couple holes that I thought wouldn't make a difference and I plan to correct big time in the off season when these type of deals are much easier to come by. I understand that there is a generation player being awarded to the bottom feeders but as far as I'm concerned I've already have two high end players... am not one of those teams and if he ends up in Carolina he should be via trade only

Finishing out of the top ten in the draft is my "playoff"goal... and next season I have better corrected this sim hate

Vermette is reunited with Getzlaf and Nash and what a game the 3 of them had. We won big but not without some injuries. Our top 2 D are now out and Nederritrr is also banged up, we'll see if we can find a way to win without them.

im actually OK with this. dont like losing, but the Blues now hold the #1 and #2 overall picks of the draft with Carolina's win.
