Default Comet Lovejoy

Been waiting a while and was able to see it with my binoculars tonight since it's finally clear after so many cloudy nights, and previous clear nights had the moon out making it harder to see.

Just a ball though, can't see the tail with binoculars.

Should be best viewing for the next few weeks.

Info on how to find it here:

After seeing Hale Bopp with the naked eye for months I just can't get excited for this one. Before I croak I hope to see another amazing comet like Hale.

Pic of Hale Bopp just before sunrise in march 97.

You can actually get a not bad scope for that much, got my kid one of these. Was able to find the comet with it too, though it doesn't gather as much light as my binoculars and is probably a bit better suited to viewing planets or the moon.

If my intended move out of the city happens this year I'm looking at this (mid grade I guess)

Yeah, there are some telescopes out there for less. This one was $200.00 if I remember correctly. It's a tripod style Anyway, if you wants it let me know!

Similar to this one.

Went out last night to try & get a peek but I couldn't see it. Hopefully it's clear tonight, I'd like to take my Celestron out to get a good look at it. I have an adapter piece for my Canon as well so I'm hoping to get some photos.
