Question Not seeing vids or gifs

For some reason whenever anyone posts a video link, and sometimes gif's, they are not showing on their post, I just get a blank space. Do I need to change anything in my settings?

I am using Firefox.

Thanks

Check that your flash player and plugins are up to date. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox?

I will give Chrome a go, I just hate having to change browsers depending on the sites I want to look at.
