Watched the first ten minutes. It was like watching paint dry only worse...

8 minutes left in the 2nd. Still no score and the paint is still drying. I think Janko is playing ok

Currently 2 - 0 Providence.

Gilmour originally credited with an assist on the 1st goal. Has since been removed from the box score. He's a +1 though.

Janko looking a bit lost at times out there if I were to be totally honest. Lost his man on the backcheck, which resulted in a shot off the crossbar (which the officials are currently convening about at centre ice as it looked like it could have gone in).

somebody scored for Providence, they are now up 2-0.

Yeah I mentioned way back when that watching that team and Jankowski was boring as all get out and I got crap for saying it, because anything negative said about Jankowski is heresy.

Janko set up some decent screens on a power play at the end of the 2nd.

Gilmour really stands out to me each time I see him. Seems to boss the Providence power play. Good skater and passer. Underrated prospect, in my opinion.

3 - 0 in the 3rd. Acciari and Saracino each with 1G/1A.

Gillies shut the door on a Vermont power play. 2 or 3 huge saves in a row and the PK comes through.

Next shift Janko comes out, makes a beauty of a play to set up his linemate who then misses a wide-open cage from 3 feet out. Brutal stuff.

Ends 3 - 0. Jon Gillies with a 29 save shutout.

Didn't see all that much of Jankowski, but he had some good moments. Won some faceoffs, made a decent play on a PK, drove to the net on the rush and set up Mauermann with a beauty chance which was wasted.

Reminded of Joe Colborne when I watch him. I think they're trying to get him to play a similar game. He's a better skater, but not quite as tall.

Gilmour has some good skills. Too bad he isn't a couple of inches taller.

So do you want to expand on that or just carry on being a jerk. You were the one who claimed he watched every Jankowski game and were the expert on his game while I only watched him a couple of times a year so my opinion didn't count. I just found it interesting that others also found him and his team boring.

The thing is Jankowski skates up and down and is positionally sound but rarely does he do anything such as winning a puck battle and making a play and it doesn't take 40 games to see this, although he seems to be a little better at this than in his first two years. He fits in well well with his team as an average player but I expect more. So far he isn't dynamic enough to play on NHL top lines and he isn't physical enough to play on the bottom lines. Who knows he may have an epiphany and suddenly get it, but I won't hold my breath.

The "lol" was because I laughed out loud at your whining.

Stop lying, liar. I never claimed any of that.

Why don't you say something useful for once without the insults. Everybody knows you're a jerk and you prove it over and over.
