Wasn't a fan of his early on. Thought he was arrogant. Happy to admit I was wrong. One of the great NHL personalities. Need more PKs not less

I'm not a huge fan of PK. He seems so awkward and to me he just seems over dramatic...

That said, this must have been so special for those kids and I have the utmost respect for players who do these kind of things. A few hours out of his day could change a kids life forever.

Perhaps I need to change my opinion about him.

He's always one of the best post-game interview guys in the league. Doesn't stick to the standard cliches, doesn't sugar coat anything, always takes full responsibility for his play good and bad. Don't think it'll be too long before he's the captain in Montreal

What makes this different for me is so many teams will voluntell their players to participate in these sort of events. But you can tell that PK is doing this because he wants to and understands the opportunity that comes with a player of his popularity.

Absolutely that.
And from a team/league standpoint, the Habs 'brand' doesn't need much... but Subban is worth every penny pushing their brand forward, off ice as well as on. And the NHL brass has got to love him too. I think he could be the guy to take the NHL brand forward in places where it never has been before.
Yes - he loves the spotlight, but he shines in it so well. Dude has charisma

The on-ice footage kinda reminded me of Kramer at the karate class.
