Have to think its either Wotherspoon or Potter coming up.

Call up probably depends on what they want to do. If Diaz is going to play then I would guess it would be Potter coming up to sit in the pressbox. If the call-up is going to play.. probably Wotherspoon.

Was hoping for Wotherspoon, I thought he looked very good in his limited time up last season. Oh well, Potter does make some sense.

Wotherspoon is a huge part of Adirondack's defence playing regular shifts, PP and PK. If the purpose of this callup was to be a warm body in case of another defenceman getting injured/fatigued, it's far better to leave Wotherspoon in Adirondack where he's going to be playing tons of minutes.
Again, AHL doesn't release TOI stats, but I'd have to imagine he's Top 3 in ice time each night, if not top TOI. He's always out there.

Well, one thing is for sure, if Potter shows something with us, he is in with a decent shout of saying up. Wonder if he draws straight in for tomorrow, or if they will just roll with Diaz and Engelland?

Hopefully Potter plays well and forces the Flames to put Diaz on waivers when Smid comes back.
