Default Mason Raymond Likely To Be In Lineup On Tuesday Against Leafs

As per flames website http://flames.nhl.com/club/news.htm?...id=DL|CGY|home

Seems like Ferland is the odd man out.

Here was Monday's lineup:

Glencross-Monahan-Jones
Gaudreau-Jooris-Hudler
Raymond-Granlund-Byron
Bollig-Stajan-Bouma

Gives us a glimpse of what Hartley might be thinking for when Colborne comes back. I assume Granlund gets pushed out, and Colbourne plays centre. The question then is whether he slots in between Raymond and Byron, or between Gaudreau and Hudler. My guess is it's Raymond and Byron, as Raymond and Colborne showed some chemistry before they got injured.

Glencross-Monahan-Jones
Gaudreau-Jooris-Hudler
Raymond-Colborne-Byron

EDIT: I know it's been discussed ad nauseam, but those lines really bring to the forefront the question of what happens when Backlund returns?

Really looking forward to this game tonight. No GDT yet so I'll put this in here:

Both teams are undefeated when leading after 2 periods.

It is being discussed in other threads but yeah it is kind of the question of the day isn't it. And then longer term when Bennett is on the roster....we truly have a glut of Centers. My own personal opinion is that we are going to see a trade if we remain healthy for a longish period of time. Though he's been playing well Jones is probably the candidate if we can move him. Convert Colborne to RW again.

This is the first time that I can remember in my life that the Flames have too many top 9 forwards and young guys to boot. One of those good problems.

I just can't see a team giving us anything near what Jones is worth to the team. He's not a huge part, but for anyone other than us or Ottawa, he's a negative contract because of the dollars.
IMO the trade will have to contain a player we all like to get some better D

I like Jones. Yeah he's over paid, but so is half the league. He brings size and a much needed right shot. My only issue with him is his health, because I think we are a better team with him in the lineup.

He seems to fit the culture of the team too.
