Good write up, but I disagree on the goat.

Has to be Bollig for being out of position and follows it up with a terrible shot block attempt that screens Hiller and leads to a goal. Also for being so slow to the scrum to hold Aulie accountable after the hit on Stajan. He was a liability defensively that directly led to a goal against, and he failed to be the policeman. Bad game

Interestingly, I came to post that I was in full agreement with Bingo on the goat...

While I will grant that Hiller's a definite improvement on last year's goaltending, that he has shown flashes of brilliance, and that he has stolen some games for us this year, his style of play is sometimes nerve-wracking...I'd call it "Turek-esque".

When tall goalies spend so much time on their knees, and with those large, rigid-looking pads, I get nervous about bad-angle shots like Fraser's goal last night, because the ability to get up and down quickly is limited. I may be spoiled by years of Kipper, but I tend to prefer the more athletic-style of goaltending, especially where goalies are constantly getting back to their feet.

Hiller's got this bad habit of allowing brutal goals that, mostly so far, the team has been able to overcome. Fraser's goal put us down needlessly and once again forced us to come from behind. This tendency has to stop down the stretch if we are hoping for (and get into!) the playoffs.

He gets the win, but I think Scrivens outplayed him last night...

This summarizes Hiller up for me in a nutshell.

I'm thinking Ramo gets tomorrow's start.
