The most popular sports game in NA got realeased at midnight last night. Haven't got it yet but always look forward to it coming out. Some EA guy was on All Night last night and the features he described sounded pretty intense. Sounds like it's gonna be another classic

it's NOWHERES near as good as nfl2k5..the announcing is annoying and the graphics haven't really been touched up from last year

I have a coworker literally drooling over the game right now.

Apparently you can create a player from scratch. And I mean, literally from scratch. You even choose his parents to help determine his personality.

The Sims meets the NFL.

I'm p*ssED. They delayed the release of the PC version more then a WEEK.

I am still uber excited for the release of this game, huge Madden fan. And seeing as I have no console, will have to wait till next week. AFTER MY FINALS....Now I need a new excuse to procrastonate.

I've read a review of it for the PS2 and from what i've read I'm not really all that impressed but I"m going to end up buying it like I do every year but I am much more excited about the hockey this year

Wish i had a console as well, it's stupid how the pc release is getting pushed back a week. NHL06 is going to blow in comparison to NHL2k6, the features, and depth of franchise mode is just incredible. i'm getting sick of EA's lame attempts at it's hockey franchise. BRING ON NEXT GEN, so i have an excuse to buy a conole!! lol

What's the big deal about one week? Everyone's bitching about that, but c'mon, surely we can wait a lousy 7 days. I love the EA series as much as anyone, but seriously, get some self control people...

i'm just a teen, plus when you combine sports with video games, my 2 greatest past times, i just can't wait! :P

I got it for Xbox, I really enjoy it.

Although I'm still figuring out how to make my own plays... arg I hate the default routes sometimes.

Now for "Superstar" mode, It is a great concept and definately fun.

Playbooks are also very team specific. My Superstar as a 2nd string WR for the Jets you think would get a fair amount of Catches? NO.

Its like Coles, then the TE, then Curtis Martin runs/catches the other 90% of the time. If the AI controls my guy, he gets 2 - 5 yard catches per game heh.

I know that Bestbuy.ca has it listed as August 16th on it's preview graphic in the PC Games section but when you click on it for more info it says September 13th. August seems a bit too early for it to be released. In the past it's always been mid to late September that it's come out.

no, we're talking about madden 06 PC being a week away from the console release of aug.9 meaning that pc will be out on the 17th earliest. Futureshop says 18th.

Ah, I figured the release date issue was about NHL 06 since you talked about the release date being pushed back and then talked about NHL 06.
