Hudler loves it in Calgary, feels like 18 again!
Hello guys, the newest Czech article about Flames, about Hudler.

Hartley so proud of him, likes his play on both ends of the ice.. ...
In Hartley´s opinion, this season Jiri is playing the best hockey during his stay with Flames, really responsible on the ice defensively, that is the part of his play Hartley likes the most, more than his great production......
Leader for young players, very good mentor for our young guns.....
Hartley: "Jiri played during his career with players like Yzerman, Lidstrom or Chelios, best possible experience..... now can use everything with Flames young players....."
Hudler: I feel like I am18 again on a line with Josh and Johnny.....really enjoying it....."
Jiri doesn ´t do any differencies..... like I am old, you are young....everybody fights for each other, said Hudler. Hudler: "We are on a roll, still not flying too high".
Gaudreau: "Our line clicks perfectly, sometimes coach wants from us more shooting, sometimes we are trying to be too much fancy....Jiri is a player I can learn a lot from him......"

Worth mention from that article:
Flames were supposed to be a rock bottom team, huge surprise for the entire league, they are fighting for the top spot in the Western conference!

that's awesome. Thanks so much for posting it.
What a huge difference from Edmonton, where the veteran team captain has to go to the media to get the attention of the young players.

I remembee when Hartley recounted when he told Hudler that he'd have to play with the rookies. "Guess who you're playing with?" - "Ferly? I love it!" - "Yes, but you also need a center." - "Granny?" - "Yes." - "I love it!"
Really impressed with Hudlers play and leadership. Hopefully he'll get re-signed next year.

Feaster's best UFA signing for sure. He's been a great player and leader for this team. Who would have known that poaching productive players from the Wings would have a more positive effect than bringing in players from the Panthers?
