As someone that frequents Sabres community sites, I can confirm this isn't a Sabres-fan led campaign. Is all of Latvia banding together to hijack the All Star game vote? Would be pretty awesome.

Generally I agree with things like this, I thought it was hilarious when Hock(e)y scores got in the finals for the new HNIC theme song. But in reference to the ASG, this seems to happen every year. Bored with it.
I guess I can get behind the Latvian link, maybe it'll be nice to see a home born player for them in the ASG. Still though, I think you get what I'm saying. Not to poop on anyone who still does think it's fun. Just that it's long past interesting for me.
