looking at the stats it seems Granlund had another tough night in the faceoff dot.
Think he is the odd man out for Stajan?

How are the Avs not going to make the playoffs?
The top line young guys: Mackinnon, Landeskog, RoR and Duchense
The old guys seemed to be playing well: Briere, Tanquay and Iginla.
On Defense: Johnson and Barrie looked really good along with Redmond.
It seems that the whole difference is this year they have been forced to play Berra and the Flames have not. Pickard has a .922 SV %.
Maybe the impact of not letting RoR go for Monahan + and ending up paying him 6M / year messed up the chemistry.

Bad in the dot, but otherwise his best game in some time, IMO. His line with Ferland and Byron was dangerous all night. He also showed a bit more grit than we have seen recently.
Still might be the odd man out, but I thought he had a strong game.

I wonder what Iginla must be thinking watching the Flames play this game, this way and having this much fun!
I kept thinking, please dont let him score or win it for the Avs..please dont!
