Fell off a ladder. Suggestions on healing needed
So I fell off a ladder putting up Christmas lights. I sprained my ankle and hyper extended my elbow. My arm was actually facing the wrong way at one point.
Now I have terrible bruising on my arm that's reached my swollen hand. What are some things I can do to reduce the bruising and swollen hand faster?

Ice baths. Fill up your sink or bathtub deep enough that you can cover 3/4 of your arm and hand with cold water and some ice cubes and soak your arm in it for 10 minutes or as long as you can stand. The bathtub method is awkward, but the ice baths are effective.
Ice massage is also helpful Fill a paper cup full of water and toss it in a freezer. Once frozen, peel paper off of the top of the cup and use the ice to make circles and massage where the bruised and swollen area's are. Leave enough paper on the cup so you can hold onto it without your hands getting too cold.
If you aren't allergic, Ibuprofen is an excellent anti-inflammatory and would help bring down the swelling. You don't need a high dose (200mg is probably more then enough) but it does help with reduction of swelling for deeper tissue/muscle injuries that aren't responding to ice.

Yes, it sounds like we are a bunch of as...holes but we are actually trying to cheer you up.
Nothing works well to heal sprains quicker, unfortunately. Rest, ice, ibuprofen, booze - that's all you've got.

Depends on how you fell off. If it's national lampoon Christmas vacation style, then you'll be fine in a couple of days. If not, you'll be dead by sundown.

A couple rounds of chemo is all you need.

I'm not a doctor, so I obviously have no real knowledge. But I'd avoid things that are directly associated with swelling (salt, etc..) Then I'd probably rotate between heat and cold compresses (heat to help with blood flow/circulation and cold to reduce swelling).

Hemp oil. A couple of drips under the tongue.
Tropical hemp lotions on the arm its self as well. The bruising will go down.
I feel your pain and you are lucky that's all that happened.
I had my bike accident I broke all 4 bones off my left elbow , the elbow it self shattered in to 8 pieces. On top of that I broke my jaw for the first time .
I couldn't take pain killers after the surgery (Mouth was screwed shut). So I had to vape and use hemp oils etc for 9 months . I still do as my arm is in serious pain still 6 years llater.

Rub the bruise with the appropriate liniment oils. Helps heal it faster.

The theory is that you want to have heat and rubbing to allow the body to dispel the bruised blood and less bruised blood in the area = better healing. Might be able to buy at the Asian malls/T&T, but not sure.
Menthol muscle rubs are somewhat helpful too.
