Haha, glad I didn't post it then. I've been close to all achievements for a while -- but then an update gets released with more to get.

New update with more achievements. I'm down from 91% to 85% of achievements. I'm never going to finish this at this rate.

I don't understand, you just keep clicking on the monsters that drop down ... forever?

So is it better to go for an ascension right way? Or do I keep going up in the current world?

FWIW, I would go for ascensions as soon as possible. That gives you hero souls, which up your DPS and/or can be spent on ancients which can add all kinds of bonuses.

Just curious, did you start playing when you made this thread? I've been going for about six weeks now.

I was in the "this is dumb, but I keep clicking" camp at first. Then I quit, did some things. Noticed this thread again, went back to the game and magically had 200k gold and realized there isn't any actual strategy required.

I made it up to the Ice Wizard, around level 65 or so, and finally convinced my brain that THE GAME ISN'T CHANGING! Damage goes up, enemy health goes up, gold drops go up, the cost of power ups go up, all in tandem, but NOTHING REALLY CHANGES!

Is that obvious from the start? Yes, it was. And yet it took until level freakin' 65.

This game totally exploits some basic programming functions in our software. Intelligent design my ass.

But if you keep playing you get gilded characters, DPS bonuses, hero souls for ascending to parallel universes, and ancient gods you can buy with hero souls that aid you in your quest!
